Alternative aims to create a national community and platform to accelerate the development of alternative proteins, a potential key to a more sustainable, innovative, and resilient food system.

Alternative brings together stakeholders in an annual event – the so-called "Stati Generali delle Proteine Alternative" (= the General States of Alternative Proteins) – for an open and constructive discussion, designed to facilitate dialogue across the supply chain and support the conscious growth of a rapidly evolving ecosystem. The sector's key innovations carry significant economic, environmental, and social impacts.

As a Content Partner of Cibus Tec Forum, Alternative is also bringing the conversation on Alternative Proteins to Parma, in the heart of Italy’s Food Valley, through a dedicated workshop featuring leading industry experts and successful case studies.
